And more cards …

Here are some of the cards that I made recently.

This one is a card I made for my grandson, Carter, on his naming day.

First I stamped the train track.  Then I cut out the trains and glued them onto the card using dimensional adhesives to give a 3D effect and glued the letters. I added some glitters on the train smoke.

My first post for 2012

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I am making yet another come back after a very long time.  I have been making lots and lots of cards but had not had the energy to publish them until now.  It is difficult to  make a come back after a long lull.  I give credit to my daughter Jenny who told me the other day to start publishing my own work instead of just peeking into other crafters’ cards.

So, here they are and I hope you can pick up some ideas on the foregoing pages.

Here is a card I made last Christmas for our lovely parish priest.  I was picking up some fallen twigs at Tracey’s backyard and I just thought I could make use of these little sticks in a card.

Am Back!

Hello Felow Crafters,

It’s been a long while since I last posted on this Blog.  After the passing away of my dear husband, it has been difficult to get back to it.

It’s been about 7 1/2 months since and am now slowly trying to move on.  In the next few days, I will be posting here the cards am making for the fortcoming Regional Conference in Sydney.

I would also like to welcome my very, very first recruit, Dr. Myrna Jover.  She joined Stampin’ Up! in October and was instantly promoted to Senior Associate … she obviously made big order (am not going to disclose here how much) … but the order was big enough to qualify for a $1,600+ free merchandise and 18 free ribbon rolls from the Dress Up Christmass promo.

So, watch out for my new posts coz am back!

Happy Wednesday everyone.  I had a chance to make 2 cards yesterday, being Australia Day.  These 2 cards are what I am going to use for my demo party on Saturday, 13 Feb 2010.

The 1st project is a birthday card (of course you can change the sentiment to suit your need).  I used Kiwi Kiss for the base and Pink Passion for accent and am happy with how it turned out.

About Me

I have a very understanding and supportive hubby, Ron who always gives me space to explore my interests.  I am a mother of 2 (Jenny and Joseph), and a stepmother of 5 (Tracey, Pauline, Nicole, Ronai, and Ronnie).  As you can imagine, I have got a lot of people to make cards for!

I have a very busy life catching the train to work at 4:32 in the morning and coming home @ 8pm.  But when you love something, you always have time for it.  So the moment I fell in love with stamping (Nov 2009), I got hooked.  Sitting on my craft table or on my computer uploading my cards is my “relaxation”.

I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy sharing them!
